Welcome to Mezze Uyghur Cuisine, the only Uyghur restaurant in Burnaby BC.  At Mezze you may now enjoy the unique cuisine that the Uyghur people developed as traders from both East and West criss-crossed their homeland over the course of millennia. You can now taste the same food that Marco Polo tasted as he traveled from Italy to the Mongolian Empire in the 13th century. Let us serve you as the envoy of the Uyghur food culture!

Our approach

Local, Organic, Halal

What is Halal? It’s a Slaughter ritual to make sure that the animals clean and fit for consumption. All the meat suppliers we source from one have to be clean hygienic. The animals have to be well-fed and pasteurized organic. At a minimum, we get all-natural, no antibiotics, no hormones, and no growth stimulants.  It is very important with the halal process is never to sharpen the knives in front of the animals and also the animals are sorted one at a time no animal can see another one being slaughtered. It yields Higher quality meat because it’s not as stressed out. Halal is the opposite of mass meat production.  Finally, before slaughtering, it’s blessed with the name of God.

WARM ATMOSPHERE

Enjoyable and comfortable atmosphere in the heart of London. Royal plate offers 50 seating places, surrounding a big fireplace that will make your dining exquisite and enjoyable. Carefully selected music and smart interior design will make you feel like home. Royal home indoor includes a vine cellar. You can taste any vine from our offering in our vine tasting bar. Royal plate can host large groups too, so if you need more seats for your feast simply send us an email, or call us by phone.

NATURAL SURROUNDING

Enjoy your dining at Royal plate terrace, surrounded by natural wooden fence and plenty of green. Royal plate terrace offers 72 seating places which can be rearranged for large groups and special events like weddings, corporate parties or baby showers. Royal view of the Palma bay in the sunset will take your breath away and make your stay truly royal. You can also visit our terrace bar where our professional staff will offer you our best vines or cocktails, according to your wishes.
